E-bikes in Shijiazhuang (see for yourself)

June 10, 2006: I made a video in Shijiazhuang, China to give you all a little background about my recent research on electric bikes in China. E-bikes are especially important in cities like Shijiazhuang, where the majority of people can't afford a car, so their choices are to be totally crammed in a bus, or move around by bike. E-bikes make this journey much easier. Furthermore, electric bikes emit zero tail-pipe emission, are virtually silent, and and are incredibly energy efficient (1.2 kWh/100 km).
